We Move Surf Day

Poppet Sands
A day of surf lessons and fun led by Kwame Salam.
Script and storytelling with Phil Okwedy and Rose Thorn.

Join us for a day of storytelling, drama, improvisation and script writing with Phil Okwedy and Rose Thorn.

Black History 365 national launch at St. Fagans Museum

West Wales Black History 365 launch party
2 – 9pm, Saturday 7th October

2pm: Official launch of Atinuke’s book Black British History: Q&A with author and illustrator, performances by the We Move group, face painting, book signing.
4pm: Launch of Llwy Gariad Too, the next cookery book from the diverse people of west Wales which started the social group. The second book of recipes will be written and illustrated by the We Move children and young people.
5pm: Cawlica and Afrawl! Bringing Afro-Caribbean influences to traditional Welsh cawl.
7pm (tbc): Performance of Cardiff’s finest, Afrocluster
