Rydym yn falch o groesawu’r adnabyddus John S. Davies a’i ensemble i naws atmosfferig golau cannwyll yng Nghapel Pisga. Bydd y gr\u0175p talentog o gantorion proffesiynol, aelodau o gorau eglwysi cadeiriol, a myfyrwyr cerdd wedi’u dewis gan John Davies ei hun yn cyflwyno awr lawen o gerddoriaeth gorawl ddwyieithog er mwyn croesawu dechrau’r Adfent.<\/p>\n

Wedi\u2019u ffurfio yn 1978, mae Cantorion John S. Davies yn perfformio’n rheolaidd yn Eglwys Gadeiriol Tyddewi, wedi teithio gyda’r clasuron mawr a gweithiau newydd gwych – y mwyafrif yn rhai di-gyfeiliant- o Lundain i Rufain, ac wedi perfformio mewn nifer o wyliau yng Nghymru.<\/p>\n

Mae John yn Gymrawd Coleg Brenhinol Cerdd a Drama Cymru lle bu’n fyfyriwr. Yn ei swyddogaeth fel Sefydlydd a Chyfarwyddwr Celfyddydol G\u0175yl Gerdd Ryngwladol Abergwaun (1970-2006) cafodd ei anrhydeddu \u00e2’r MBE ym 1997. Mae hefyd wedi derbyn nifer o wobrwyon eraill am ei waith ym myd cerddoriaeth yng Nghymru.<\/p>\n
