Sonic Spider: Musicians Workshop

arts are offering a unique opportunity for local
Musicians interested in improvisation, learning to play new, experimental instruments,
and using musical skill to imagine yourself into the mind of another creature.
Sonic Spider is an immersive, large scale, hypnotic,
musical interpretation of the consciousness of the orb web spider, alone in her web, patiently waiting and listening – for the
approach of prey or predator, or the wind and weather. Her whole world is
perceived through vibrations, as she can hardly see.

SPAN arts are seeking local Musicians interested in
improvisation, learning to play new, experimental instruments, and using
musical skill to imagine yourself into the mind of another creature, to take
part in workshops and performances of The Sonic Spider as part of Narberth Civic
week.
Workshop and
Performances:
The Sonic Spider workshop on Thursday 25 July, between 11am
– 1pm at Narberth Scout Hut.
Participants will be invited to join the performances later
that day from 2pm and on Friday 26 July from 10 am.
The workshop is FREE but advanced booking is required.
