DESCRIPTION:SPAN\narts are offering a unique opportunity for local\nMusicians interested in improvisation\, learning to play new\, experimental instruments\,\nand using musical skill to imagine yourself into the mind of another creature. \n \nSonic Spider is an immersive\, large scale\, hypnotic\,\nmusical interpretation of the consciousness of the orb web spider\, alone in her web\, patiently waiting and listening – for the\napproach of prey or predator\, or the wind and weather. Her whole world is\nperceived through vibrations\, as she can hardly see. \n \nJoin The Sonic Spider: \nSPAN arts are seeking local Musicians interested in\nimprovisation\, learning to play new\, experimental instruments\, and using\nmusical skill to imagine yourself into the mind of another creature\, to take\npart in workshops and performances of The Sonic Spider as part of Narberth Civic\nweek.  \n  \nWorkshop and\nPerformances: \n  \nThe Sonic Spider workshop on Thursday 25 July\, between 11am\n– 1pm at Narberth Scout Hut. \nParticipants will be invited to join the performances later\nthat day from 2pm and on Friday 26 July from 10 am. \nThe workshop is FREE but advanced booking is required. \nTo reserve your space go to www.span-arts.org.uk\nand book your workshop ticket. \nFor more information email info@span-arts.org.uk \n \n \nLocation:  \n \nNarberth Scout Hut\, Narberth\, Pembrokeshire.
