Cân Sing will now be taking place at the SPAN Building, Narberth, at the regular time of 7.00 pm - 9.00 pmLimited sapces - Book by choosing the date below.  Cân Sing is a relaxed environment in which we sing for the sake of singing! Join vocal practitioner Molara for an exploratory celebration of singing, work on strengthening the voice, overcoming some of the physical and emotional barriers to singing openly and freely, and above all singing for enjoyment. The repertoire is varied with songs from Georgia, Ghana, Zimbabwe, and Hawaii with a few shanties and some pop thrown in for good measure. The group has been meeting for many years, with new additions along the way. It's perfect if you are looking to sing regularly in a pressure free environment, or whether you fancy dropping in for a sing every so often. The pace of the teaching is easily accessible to all, with no time restraints. Join Emily Laurens for Queer Art Patches, a creative workshop for all the family as part of Queer Culture Jam. Join SPAN in celebrating the We Move project with an evening of music, film and performance. SPAN, in partnership with Llwy Gariad group of diverse people of West Wales, is proud to present an evening of celebration for the We Move project, a Global Majority youth social action project bringing young people together. Join us for films and music created and presented by We Move, a youth-led project for Global Majority children and young people across West Wales. Celebrate the We Move Project with delicious food from the Zahia’s Kitchen, live music from the We Move house band, aerial circus from Eliza, and a performance from The Successors of the Mandingue. The project is supported by the Children in Need We Move fund. The £1m We Move Fund: Youth Social Action aims to empower Black children and young people to use their voice to tackle subjects that matter to them and create change. We know that Black children and young people face many barriers in British society. Sonic Spider: Musicians Workshop

SPAN arts are offering a unique opportunity for local Musicians interested in improvisation, learning to play new, experimental instruments, and using musical skill to imagine yourself into the mind of another creature. Sonic Spider is an immersive, large scale, hypnotic, musical interpretation of the consciousness of the orb web spider, alone in her web, patiently waiting and listening – for the approach of prey or predator, or the wind and weather.
